With Good Vibes’ season finale last might it seemed appropriate to post this. At the end of my animation team’s contract back in June I bought a most excellent beer, La Fin du Monde (“the end of the world”, geddit?) for each one of my teammates as a farewell gift.
With a little ingenuity and a lot of tape I pasted Mondo’s head over the logo and changed the name to “La fin du Mondo” (the end of Mondo, geddit?).
Yes, I am a geek.

Finally, to close out this Good Vibes trifecta, here are a couple of designs of myself in the GV style. The director on the final episode let a bunch of us animators design ourselves to be put in as BG characters. So keep an eyeout for a bunch of weird animator types crashing Mondo’s prom in about 11 weeks!
And this is kinda narcissistic, but here’s the proof! Gotta say it was fun to see my name scroll by at lightning speed. This isn’t the first TV series I’ve worked on, but it is the first that either aired or lasted long enough for the episodes I worked on to air. Woo!
I should’ve posted this about a week ago, but oh well! The show I worked on for about half a year, Good Vibes, is now airing on MTV! Posted above is the first episode (which I helped out a bit on), and the 2nd (which I didn;t help on at all but is an awesome episode) airs tomorrow night at 10:30/9:30C. Checkitout!
